Agency BMB approached us to make a 30 second tv spot for Laterooms.com. Having seen our short film '3650' they wanted us to bring the same sense of warmth and charm to the project. The brief was to show the wide range of accomodation available through Laterooms in as appealing and creative a way as possible.
It was very nearly the perfect job, with both the client and agency giving us loads of trust and creative freedom so we could go to town with lots of texture and detail to make it as rich and inviting as possible.
We teamed up with the 3650 DP, Tim Green, to shoot the location which was quite a challenge as he had to visualise the position of the bubbles we would be adding later and keep the camera move smooth while retaining a handheld feel, no mean feat. Our fantastic 3d crew really brought our designs to life and solved every technical problem we threw at them. All in all, it was a very creative and enjoyable project, and a lot of fun to make.
